भीष्मद्रोणप्रमुखतः सर्वेषां च महीक्षिताम् ।उवाच पार्थ पश्यैतान्समवेतान्कुरूनिति ॥
bhīṣmadroṇapramukhataḥ sarveṣāṃ ca mahīkṣitām |uvāca pārtha paśyaitānsamavetānkurūniti ||
In front of Bhishma, Drona and all the rulers of the earth, he said, "O Partha, look at these Kurus assembled here."
Explanation
Sanjaya is telling Dhritarashtra what happened next. Krishna, serving as Arjuna's charioteer, has stopped the chariot between the two armies, facing Bhishma, Drona and the other kings. He tells Arjuna (Partha, son of Pritha, also called Kunti) to look at the assembled Kurus. This sets up Arjuna's grief on seeing his own relatives in the opposing army.
