mayyāveśya mano ye māṃ nityayuktā upāsate |śraddhayā parayopetāste me yuktatamā matāḥ ||
Those who fix their minds on me and worship me, always steadfast and endowed with supreme faith — I consider them the most accomplished in yoga.
Explanation
Arjuna has just asked who is better in yoga (spiritual discipline): those devoted to Krishna in a personal form, or those who worship the unmanifest. Krishna answers first by naming the devotees who keep their minds absorbed in him with constant steadiness (nitya-yukta) and deep faith (śraddhā) as the most accomplished. Traditions differ on how this ranking relates to the path of the unmanifest described next: devotional schools take it as a clear preference, while non-dualist readings see both paths as leading to the same goal.
