Having fully restrained the whole group of senses, even-minded toward all everywhere, and delighting in the welfare of all beings, they too reach me.
Explanation
Krishna is answering Arjuna's question about who is better established in yoga: devotees of the personal Krishna, or those who meditate on the unmanifest, imperishable Brahman (described in the previous verse). Here he says that those seekers, who master the senses (indriya), see all beings with equal regard (samabuddhi) and work for everyone's good, also reach him. Traditions differ on how they read this: some see it as affirming the path of the unmanifest as fully valid, while others stress that it is the harder route, as the next verse says.
