मय्येव मन आधत्स्व मयि बुद्धिं निवेशय ।निवसिष्यसि मय्येव अत ऊर्ध्वं न संशयः ॥
mayyeva mana ādhatsva mayi buddhiṃ niveśaya |nivasiṣyasi mayyeva ata ūrdhvaṃ na saṃśayaḥ ||
Fix your mind on me alone; let your intellect rest in me. After this you will live in me alone. Of this there is no doubt.
Explanation
Krishna is speaking to Arjuna about devotion to him as the supreme, personal form of the divine. He asks Arjuna to place both his mind (manas), which thinks and wavers, and his intellect (buddhi), which decides, on him. The promise is that Arjuna will then dwell in Krishna. Traditions differ on whether this means union with the personal God or a deeper oneness, and the verse itself does not settle it.
