यस्त्विन्द्रियाणि मनसा नियम्यारभतेऽर्जुन ।कर्मेन्द्रियैः कर्मयोगमसक्तः स विशिष्यते ॥
yastvindriyāṇi manasā niyamyārabhate'rjuna |karmendriyaiḥ karmayogamasaktaḥ sa viśiṣyate ||
But the one who masters the senses with the mind, O Arjuna, and without attachment sets the organs of action to work in the yoga of action, is the one who excels.
Explanation
Krishna contrasts this person with the one in the previous verse, who holds back the body's actions while the mind keeps dwelling on sense objects. Here the senses are governed by the mind, and the person still acts, without attachment (saṅga). This is karma yoga, the discipline of action done without clinging to results.
