Those who, with the eye of knowledge, know in this way the difference between the field and the knower of the field, and the release of beings from prakriti, reach the Supreme.
Explanation
Krishna closes chapter 13 by summarizing its aim: seeing clearly the difference between the field (kṣetra, the body and nature) and the knower of the field (kṣetrajña, the conscious self). The phrase bhūta-prakṛti-mokṣa can be read as the liberation of beings from material nature (prakṛti), or as the means of releasing beings from nature. Those who see this with the "eye of knowledge" (jñāna-cakṣus) reach the Supreme (param).
