Everywhere it has hands and feet; everywhere it has eyes, heads and faces; everywhere it has ears. In the world it dwells, enveloping everything.
Explanation
Krishna is describing the knowable (jñeya), the supreme Brahman introduced in the previous verse. Hands, feet, eyes and ears everywhere are a figure of speech: every act of doing, going, seeing and hearing in any being is powered by this one reality, which pervades all things. Traditions differ on the sense: Advaita readings take it as the one formless Self appearing through all beings, while devotional readings take it as the personal Lord's all-pervading presence.
