Some perceive the Self within themselves, by themselves, through meditation. Others do so through the yoga of knowledge (Sankhya), and others through the yoga of action.
Explanation
Krishna has just said that one who truly knows spirit (puruṣa) and nature (prakṛti) is not reborn. Here he lists different paths by which people come to see the Self (ātman): meditation (dhyāna), the discipline of knowledge (sāṅkhya yoga), and the discipline of selfless action (karmayoga). Some commentators take Sankhya here as analytic discernment between self and matter, while others read it more broadly as the path of knowledge.
