Whatever being you find that is endowed with glory, splendor, or exceptional power, know that it has arisen from just a fragment of my radiance.
Explanation
Krishna has just said that his manifestations (vibhūti) are endless and that he has named only a few. Here he gives Arjuna a simple rule for recognizing them: anything glorious, beautiful or powerful comes from a small portion of his splendor (tejas). Traditions differ on emphasis: Advaita readers see this as the one reality appearing through excellence, while devotional schools stress the personal Lord as the source of all power.
