Among deceivers I am gambling, and among the radiant I am radiance. I am victory, I am resolve, and among the good I am their goodness (sattva).
Explanation
Krishna continues listing his divine manifestations (vibhūti) for Arjuna, picking the finest example in each category. Gambling stands for the power of trickery, while radiance, victory, resolve (vyavasāya) and goodness (sattva, the clear, luminous quality among the three gunas) are his presence in excellence. Including gambling is often read as showing that his power underlies everything, even what is morally questionable, without endorsing it.
