Fix your mind on me, be devoted to me, worship me, bow to me. Joining yourself to me in this way, with me as your highest goal, you will come to me alone.
Explanation
Krishna ends chapter 9 by summing up his teaching to Arjuna: keep the mind on him, devote oneself to him, worship and bow to him. Here "joining yourself" (yuktvā ātmānam) means disciplining and directing oneself inward toward the divine, and the verse promises arrival at Krishna himself. Traditions differ on the emphasis: devotional schools read it as the heart of loving devotion (bhakti), while non-dual readings take "me" as the Self that is one with all.
