The Rudras, Adityas, Vasus and Sadhyas, the Vishvedevas, the two Ashvins, the Maruts, and the Ushmapas, the hosts of Gandharvas, Yakshas, Asuras and Siddhas, all of them gaze at You, utterly amazed.
Explanation
Arjuna is describing the cosmic form (viśvarūpa) Krishna has shown him. He lists classes of divine and semi-divine beings, such as the Rudras, Adityas and Maruts, and says even they stare at it in astonishment. The Ushmapas are usually understood as the ancestors (pitṛs), who are said to feed on the steam of offerings.
