Seeing your immense form, O mighty-armed one, with its many mouths and eyes, its many arms, thighs and feet, its many bellies, and its many fearsome tusks, the worlds tremble in terror, and so do I.
Explanation
Arjuna is speaking to Krishna during the vision of his universal form (viśvarūpa). The sight of countless mouths, limbs and fearsome tusks fills him with dread, and he says all the worlds share his terror. The word "worlds" (lokāḥ) can mean the beings who live in them, and commentators differ on whether this refers to all creatures or to the gods and sages just mentioned.
