एवमेतद्यथात्थ त्वमात्मानं परमेश्वर ।द्रष्टुमिच्छामि ते रूपमैश्वरं पुरुषोत्तम ॥
evametadyathāttha tvamātmānaṃ parameśvara |draṣṭumicchāmi te rūpamaiśvaraṃ puruṣottama ||
So it is, O Supreme Lord, just as you have described yourself. Still, I long to see your sovereign form, O Supreme Person.
Explanation
Arjuna has just heard Krishna describe his glory and the way all beings arise from him and return to him. He says he accepts it all, but he now wants to see it, not only hear it. He asks to see Krishna's divine, sovereign form (aiśvara rūpa), and addresses him as the Supreme Lord (parameśvara) and Supreme Person (puruṣottama).
