You are Vayu, Yama, Agni, Varuna and the moon. You are Prajapati and the great-grandfather. Salutations, salutations to you a thousand times, and again and yet again, salutations, salutations to you.
Explanation
Arjuna, overwhelmed by Krishna's universal form, continues praising him as the source of all divine powers. He names gods of wind (Vayu), death (Yama), fire (Agni), water (Varuna) and the moon (Shashanka), and calls him Prajapati, the creator, and the great-grandfather, the origin even of Brahma the grandfather. The repeated bows show his awe and humility.
