अदृष्टपूर्वं हृषितोऽस्मि दृष्ट्वाभयेन च प्रव्यथितं मनो मे ।तदेव मे दर्शय देव रूपंप्रसीद देवेश जगन्निवास ॥
adṛṣṭapūrvaṃ hṛṣito'smi dṛṣṭvābhayena ca pravyathitaṃ mano me |tadeva me darśaya deva rūpaṃprasīda deveśa jagannivāsa ||
I am thrilled at seeing what has never been seen before, yet my mind is shaken with fear. Show me that same form of yours, O God. Be gracious, O Lord of the gods, O abode of the universe.
Explanation
Arjuna has just seen Krishna's cosmic form (viśvarūpa). He is awed and delighted, but also terrified, so he asks Krishna to return to the familiar form he knew. Calling Krishna 'abode of the universe' (jagannivāsa) says that the whole world rests in him.
