यदा ते मोहकलिलं बुद्धिर्व्यतितरिष्यति ।तदा गन्तासि निर्वेदं श्रोतव्यस्य श्रुतस्य च ॥
yadā te mohakalilaṃ buddhirvyatitariṣyati |tadā gantāsi nirvedaṃ śrotavyasya śrutasya ca ||
When your understanding crosses beyond the thicket of delusion, then you will become indifferent to what is yet to be heard and to what has been heard.
Explanation
Krishna is speaking to Arjuna about the steady, discerning mind of one who acts without clinging to results. When the intellect (buddhi) gets past the murk of delusion (moha), he says, Arjuna will lose interest in all teachings, whether already heard or still to come. Some commentators read this as freedom from dependence on scriptural rules and ritual instruction. Others read it as a detachment from the pull of competing opinions, not a rejection of learning.
