svabhāvajena kaunteya nibaddhaḥ svena karmaṇā |kartuṃ necchasi yanmohātkariṣyasyavaśo'pi tat ||
O son of Kunti, you are bound by your own action, born of your own nature. What you do not wish to do out of delusion, you will do anyway, even against your will.
Explanation
Krishna continues his reply to Arjuna's wish to avoid the war. He says Arjuna's own nature (svabhāva), shaped by his inborn tendencies as a warrior, ties him to his duty (karma, action). So his refusal, which comes from delusion (moha), will not hold, and he will end up acting anyway.
