एतान्यपि तु कर्माणि सङ्गं त्यक्त्वा फलानि च ।कर्तव्यानीति मे पार्थ निश्चितं मतमुत्तमम् ॥
etānyapi tu karmāṇi saṅgaṃ tyaktvā phalāni ca |kartavyānīti me pārtha niścitaṃ matamuttamam ||
Even these actions, O son of Pritha, should be performed after letting go of attachment and of their fruits. This is my firm and supreme view.
Explanation
Krishna has just said that sacrifice (yajña), giving (dāna) and austerity (tapas) purify the wise and must not be abandoned. Here he adds how they should be done: without attachment (saṅga) and without clinging to results (phala). This is his central teaching of acting without possessiveness; he calls it his firm, highest view.
