न च तस्मान्मनुष्येषु कश्चिन्मे प्रियकृत्तमः ।भविता न च मे तस्मादन्यः प्रियतरो भुवि ॥
na ca tasmānmanuṣyeṣu kaścinme priyakṛttamaḥ |bhavitā na ca me tasmādanyaḥ priyataro bhuvi ||
Among human beings, no one does more that is dear to me than he does, and no one else on earth will ever be dearer to me than he is.
Explanation
Krishna is finishing his teaching to Arjuna. He says that whoever shares this supreme secret with his devotees (described in the previous verse) is the dearest person to him. Here "dear" (priya) refers to love and to service he values. The verse is generally read as praise for sharing the teaching, though traditions differ on whether this means teaching in words or living it out.
