Give up all dharmas and come to me alone for refuge. I will free you from all sins; do not grieve.
Explanation
Krishna is speaking to Arjuna, bringing his teaching to its close with a reassurance. He asks Arjuna to set aside all dharmas, meaning duties and religious observances, take refuge (śaraṇa) in him alone, and promises release from all sins, so that Arjuna need not grieve. Traditions differ on "give up all dharmas": Advaita commentators read it as renouncing the sense of being the doer of actions, while Vaishnava traditions read it as setting aside other paths and duties in favour of full surrender to Krishna.
